1. Technical requirements for self-inspection of fire pumps
(1) Strictly follow the requirements of national standards and relevant technical documents, and carry out self-inspection of fire pumps in accordance with the operation and maintenance manual.
(2) The fire pump should be tested in accordance with the installation requirements, and the self-inspection shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the inspection plan.
(3) Test the power system, control system and protection system of the fire pump, and check whether the wiring is firm and reliable.
(4) Test the performance of the fire pump, including the pressure, flow, vibration, noise and temperature rise.
(5) Check whether the parts of the fire pump are intact and the fastening bolts are firm and reliable.
2. Common sense for installation and maintenance of fire pumps
(1) Fire pumps should be installed in a ventilated and dry place, and the maintenance room should be equipped with the necessary fire protection and monitoring equipment.
(2) The installation and debugging of the fire pump should be carried out by professional and experienced personnel.
(3) After the installation and debugging of the fire pump are completed, the operation and maintenance manual should be read carefully, and the relevant personnel should be trained and qualified before they can be put into use.
(4) The fire pump should be inspected and maintained regularly, and the lubricating oil should be replaced regularly.
(5) The operation and maintenance personnel should be familiar with the operation and maintenance procedures of the fire pump.
