Differences between fire pumps and spray pumps
Fire pump is the collaborative term for a variety of specialised pumps used in the water force of fire repression systems, fire pumps being spray pumps, line pumps and jockey pumps, also known as fire pumps.
The general design and construction of fire pumps, line pumps, spray pumps and line pumps, in fact, all under fire pumps, simply refers to the use of different systems and differences.
Simply different parameters( inflow, head, capacity, etc.), the pressure is different because it sets the system the inflow of the line system and the sprinkler system. When it comes to structure and function is the same, a sprinkler pump is a fire pump.
Spray pumps
Sprayr pump tone- priming is the rupture of the glass ball of the snoot through each defensive area of the pipeline network under high temperature, thereby causing the inflow of water in the pipeline network, connecting the alarm stopcock to the pressure switch operation.
Work to achieve the purpose of tone- expanding springs. By reporting the total circumstance of water inflow index draw- in modules and pressure switch control to the control centre, the fire control room can directly reflect its operating signals.
At the same time, the control centre should be suitable to directly control the starting and stopping of the sprinkler pumps.
Fire Line pumps.
Pressure stabilising pumps these pumps force water to hydrant fire- extinguishing systems and automatic sprinkler fire- extinguishing systems and maintain the pressure in the pipeline system.

Why is the centrifugal pump the most common fire pump?
Not just fire pumps, but water pumps in general, from large outdoor pumps to the ball-less pumps that keep almost everyone's basement free of water.

There are two initial types of water pumps, centrifugal and forced circulation. As you pointed out in your question, the former is the most common, while the latter is only used in emergencies.

The former is due to the smaller moving passage (a rotating impeller in a housing compared to a piston with a drive rod and crankshaft) and the fact that a centrifugal pump can rotate without supply from the outlet, whereas a positive relegation must push water out of the outlet or suffer catastrophic failure. Imagine that the shut-off valve closes when the booster pump is running and you have forgotten to turn off the pump, or that one of the automatic shut-off valves or the booster valves has failed. It would explode because the water is not compressible.

They are simply cheaper, more reliable and less economical.

5 simple facts about fire pump
fire suppression water pipelines
1. layout requirements for outdoor fire suppression water pipelines :
(1) The outdoor firefighting water supply pipe network should be laid out in a circular pattern. If the consumption of water for outdoor firefighting is less than 15 L/s, it can be arranged in a branch shape.
(2) There must be at least two water supply pipes to the annular pipe network.
(3) The annular pipeline must be divided into several independent sections by valves, the number of indoor and outdoor fire hydrants in each section must not exceed 5.
(4) The diameter of outdoor fire-extinguishing water pipelines should be not less than DN100, and if conditions permit, not less than 150 mm.

Product introduction of EDJ fire pump set
Product description:
EDJ fire pump group consists of diesel engine fire pump, electric pump group and stabilized pump to form an automatic fire water supply system
1. Electric pump, single-stage pump, horizontal split pump, end-suction pump, multi-stage pump, the material is cast iron or stainless steel, and the impeller can be made of copper impeller
2. Diesel engine pump, the flow rate is the same as that of the electric pump. The diesel engine is connected by a highly elastic coupling or a universal joint to form a fire pump set. The set also includes fuel tanks, water tanks, fans, control panels and other components.
3. Stabilizer pump, horizontal or vertical, small flow, higher lift than electric pumps and diesel pumps
4. Control cabinet, automatic control of electric pump, diesel engine pump and stabilized pump, with overload, overcurrent protection
5. The accessories include check valve, gate valve, air pressure tank (0.6mpa, 1.0mpa, 1.6mpa), pressure gauge, pressure sensor, common inlet and outlet pipeline, soft joint, flange and common base.

How do fire pumps work?
Previous to installation, sprinkler systems are hydraulically calculated to determine the permissible water inflow rate to give fire control previous to the appearance of the fire squad. Once it has been determined that there's an external power input shy of the system to operate effectively, the fire pump is installed. The fire pump is actuated when the pressure in the sprinkler system drops below a certain threshold due to the operation of the sprinkler heads. The fire pump draws fresh water from an external hydraulic or point water storehouse tank to maintain the needed operating pressure in the sprinkler system. Fire pumps are frequently needed in high- rise structures and large structures because of the size and pressure loss of pipeline systems.
