 fire suppression water pipelines
1. layout requirements for outdoor fire suppression water pipelines :
(1) The outdoor firefighting water supply pipe network should be laid out in a circular pattern. If the consumption of water for outdoor firefighting is less than 15 L/s, it can be arranged in a branch shape.
(2) There must be at least two water supply pipes to the annular pipe network.
(3) The annular pipeline must be divided into several independent sections by valves, the number of indoor and outdoor fire hydrants in each section must not exceed 5.
(4) The diameter of outdoor fire-extinguishing water pipelines should be not less than DN100, and if conditions permit, not less than 150 mm.

Indoor fire-extinguishing water supply pipelines:
(1) Fire suppression water supply standpipes shall be arranged to ensure that water guns from two adjacent hydrants on the same floor fill the water column and reach any part of the protected area simultaneously. Fire water supply standpipes in high-rise buildings shall have a minimum diameter of 100 mm.
(2) The water supply pipe network for indoor fire hydrants and the pipe network for automatic sprinkler systems shall be installed separately. In case of difficulty, they should be separated before the alarm valve.
Second, fire pump setup requirements
Fire extinguishing pumps should be installed in both the temporary high-pressure fire extinguishing water supply system and the stable high-pressure fire extinguishing water supply system. Fire extinguishing pumps must be provided with backup pumps.
1. pumps are not allowed in the following cases
(1) When the outdoor fire-extinguishing water consumption of factories, warehouses, yards, storage tanks, etc. is less than 25 L/s.
(2) When the indoor fire extinguishing water consumption of the building is 10 L/s or less. 2.
2. the suction pipe of the fire pump must be leak-proof and the following points must be taken into account
(1) The water pump must be a self-priming suction type.
(2) If the suction pipe diameter is smaller than DN 250, its flow rate should be 1.0 m/s to 1.2 m/s. For DN 250 or larger, the flow rate should be 1.2m/s to 1.6m/s.

fire pits and fire tanks:
In case of construction (works) where the city water pipeline, intake pipeline or natural water source cannot meet the fire water usage, and where the city water pipeline is branched or has only one inlet pipe, the total indoor and outdoor fire water usage is at least 25 L/s. ) Buildings should be equipped with fire pools.
If continuous water replenishment is guaranteed during a fire, the capacity of the fire pool may be subtracted from the amount of water replenished during the fire period, and the water replenishment time for the fire pool shall not exceed 48 hours. . If the total volume of the fire pool exceeds 500 m3 , it shall be divided into two independently usable fire pools.

voltage boosting and voltage stabilization equipment
Fire pump flow rates for fire suppression water systems must be calculated and determined according to the system's percolation flow rate.
The flow rate of the sprinkler fire pumps shall be 1 L/s and shall not exceed the flow rate of a single sprinkler unit. The flow rate of the hydrant water system fire pumps should not exceed 5 L/s. Combined fire pumps for hydrant water systems and automatic sprinkler systems must be 3 L/s.
Pneumatic tanks
(1) The fire water storage volume of the pneumatic tank of the hydrant water supply system must meet the fire water consumption requirement for two water cannons to operate for 30 seconds during the initial phase of the fire, i.e. Vx=. 2 x 5 x 30 = 300 (L).
(2) The water storage volume of the automatic sprinkler system must meet the fire water consumption requirement for five sprinklers to operate for 30 seconds at the beginning of a fire, i.e. Vx= 5×1×30=150(L). If the fire hydrant system and automatic sprinkler system are combined with a pressure tank, their volume will be 300+150=450(L).

Fire pump adapter
There are three types of water pump adapters: above-ground type, underground type, and wall type. That configuration should be convenient for connecting a water pump of a fire truck. An outdoor fire hydrant or fire pool should be located within 15 m to 40 m of the water pump adapter.
The order of the components of the water pump adapter should be reasonable. From the direction of water supply to the water pump adapter, the order is check valve, safety valve, and valve.
